Symptoms of H. Pylori includes an ache or burning pain in your abdomen, Abdominal pain that's worse when your stomach is empty, Nausea, Loss of appetite, Frequent burping, Bloating, Unintentional weight loss
H. pylori infections can lead to peptic ulcers, but the infection or the ulcer itself can lead to more serious complications. These include: internal bleeding, which can happen when a peptic ulcer breaks through your blood vessel and is associated with iron deficiency anemia.
Antibiotics are the new cure for ulcers; therapy is 1-2 weeks of one or two antibiotics and a medicine that will reduce the acid in the stomach. This treatment is a dramatic medical advance because eliminating H. pylori with antibiotics means that there is a greater than 90% chance that the ulcer can be cured for good.
